Vantaggi
I've been working here as an Android engineer for 4 years and plan to stay. The career framework is transparent and well-defined — you know what's expected at each level and what you need to do to progress. It removes a lot of the ambiguity that's common elsewhere. Tech debt is handled responsibly. Each sprint has a mandatory capacity allocation for addressing it, which keeps the codebase in decent shape. Learning and development is supported — there's access to learning materials and the option to attend conferences, so staying up to date with your skills is encouraged rather than something you have to push for. The culture is good. People are collaborative and the general working environment is positive. The London office is nice and the location by Tower Bridge is a great place to work.
Svantaggi
The office location is a double-edged sword. With mandatory in-office days coming up, the Tower Bridge area — being a busy tourist spot — is not the most practical to commute to, depending on where you live.
