Svantaggi
This review is for candidates who are considering a product role with the company. Many of the reviews already touched on the negative aspects of the company culture and product so I won't go into that in this review. Fluent is a marketing and advertising company first and foremost, which means its definition of a product and, consequently, product management is framed within this context. The products you'll be working on will essentially be acquisition funnels or "flows", as they are called internally, to the company's advertisers' products and services. You will be optimizing these funnels to improve metrics such as progression and revenue per impression. You won't be doing any sort of customer development or user interviews and your product decisions won't be based on providing the most value or delivering the best experience to your end users because your product's "users" are essentially just impressions you have to maximize the yield for. The morality of the product itself is a whole other issue that I won't get into because it's been covered by many other reviews. If you're considering a product role at the company, I would strongly urge you to understand what the company does, what kind of products you'll be working on, and what kind of value you'll be creating as a product manager.
