Vantaggi
I’ve been with Flying Angels for almost 1 year (many of their nurses have been flying with them since the beginning). This is probably the funnest job I’ve ever had. We get to provide amazing nursing care to patients all over the world! I love the flexibility in my schedule. I get to make myself available or unavailable. FA pays within 2-3 days of submitting my paperwork after a case. The flight coordinators are all amazing and work out every last detail for you so you can just focus on your patient. I’ve flown a few 2 nurse cases and have met some of the greatest people to adventure with. Our patient’s families are so grateful and kind. Bob made sure I had everything I need to be successful in this job and is always easily accessible by phone and email. I get to keep my miles! I could go on and on….I’ve been in healthcare since 2001 and I’ve been a nurse since 2006. I put my time in….mostly ER and ICU. I call this job my reward for all of those years in the hospital.
Svantaggi
The only thing I get slightly frustrated about sometimes, is when I don’t have cases on my schedule yet and I can’t tell what’s coming down the pipeline, so it’s kind of like being on call which can be a challenge with teenagers at home….But in these situations, if something comes up in my personal life, I can hop on their app and make myself unavailable. So I literally can take myself “off call” anytime I want!! 😳 No problem at all!
