I’m writing this not as a disgruntled former employee, but as someone who observed troubling patterns over time that raise serious ethical concerns. Since the arrival of the current Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, favoritism and nepotism have become increasingly apparent. Multiple hires were made into roles reporting directly or indirectly to this leader, despite these individuals having close personal and professional relationships from a previous company. This behavior appears to be supported at the executive level, including the CFO, who shares the same prior network. What is most concerning is the repeated pattern of employees receiving false or highly questionable year end performance reviews that do not align with their actual contributions. These reviews are then used to justify terminations or “restructuring” layoffs. Shortly afterward often within a month the same roles are reposted publicly and filled by individuals the leadership team has worked with previously. This creates an environment where performance, fairness, and transparency are secondary to personal relationships. It damages morale, undermines trust in leadership, and raises serious questions about governance, ethics, and internal controls.
