And let me be more specific: For the past two years I've been the primary caretaker for a family member battling a host of health challenges — Focus Lab has given me the space, grace, and trust to be where I'm most needed, when I'm needed the most.

If you're on a small team, things can inherently feel a little siloed and it takes a little more effort to get to know people in a remote environment. While there is ample room for professional growth, there is less room for role/title "advancement" (as is true of any smaller company).
