- Low pay - Almost every policy that Ford has is geared to pinch as many pennies as possible while finding every legal loophole they can to squeeze as much out of their employees as possible for that small salary they're making. -Despite the incredibly high turnover rate at the company and the fact that every division is constantly understaffed and needing more people, that doesn't stop Ford from treating ever employee like they're expendable. Ford values treating everyone as expendable more than it values any actual quality. -Salaried is worse than hourly here. Salaried just means you have to work AT LEAST as much as hourly and if you don't work more than that, you're considered to be slacking. - Ford would rather make sure an employee isn't going to be a problem for them rather than fix any of the actual problems with the company. -I never personally had to work with Claire Ford, but when every single person is in panic mode at the thought of having to interact with the CEO of the company, that's not a good sign. Many of the other reviews on this Glassdoor are accurate, and the ones that have a good opinion, I can only assume are either fabricated or from those lucky enough to have been in upper management, who are the only ones treated at all well. If you have experience, don't work here. If you have another job option, pick the other one instead of this one. Note: If you work here, be prepared to be let go the moment you turn in a two weeks notice. They do this because if you've taken any PTO or had a holiday within 2 weeks of when you leave the company, they don't have to pay you for that time. Just another example of how Ford works to save every dime at the expense of its employees.
