      Ford has been my home, I have been fortunate to have a job for as long as I have especially with the amount of layoffs we have been through the last 15 years. I have grown as a person and as a professional Alot of great professionals work here Pay is fair nothing compared to the Tech world

      Working around the clock depending on the job and milestone (It's expected with no additional pay or comp time) Very hard to get a TA No pension Consistent layoffs

      Pretty easy job, low stress, good work life balance, nice people. If you just want a place where you can maintain a stable career, with decent pay, and a good work life balance, you could do much worse than Ford.

      Terrible leadership decisions. ADAS got wrecked over the past 2 years. Most of the talented engineers that I knew have moved on. Part was intentional attrition via return to office mandates and the rest was just the fact that the talented folks who could easily get new jobs got frustrated enough to leave. If you're interested in deep technical work related to autonomy, robotics, ADAS, etc - Ford is not the place you want to be. All of the interesting work has been moved to Latitude, Ford ADAS is mostly just supplier management now.
