      Great people and modest workload. We also have great products and customers that are fun to work with if you’re into cars/trucks.

      Limited upward mobility and currently there is a preference for outside hires. Strategies shift ever few months making it challenging to get work accomplished.

      Pretty easy job, low stress, good work life balance, nice people. If you just want a place where you can maintain a stable career, with decent pay, and a good work life balance, you could do much worse than Ford.

      Terrible leadership decisions. ADAS got wrecked over the past 2 years. Most of the talented engineers that I knew have moved on. Part was intentional attrition via return to office mandates and the rest was just the fact that the talented folks who could easily get new jobs got frustrated enough to leave. If you're interested in deep technical work related to autonomy, robotics, ADAS, etc - Ford is not the place you want to be. All of the interesting work has been moved to Latitude, Ford ADAS is mostly just supplier management now.
