- 'Salary' is all 'performance based' ie you're not on a minimum wage, you're only paid if you sell. You're employed as an 'independent financial advisor' which means you're technically self employed. You're told you can work your own hours but you're still expected in 6 full days a week and if you miss one or two days you'll be asked not to come back
- Weird cultish culture, told not to talk about almost selling/missed results, told not to speak to anyone you met at the company that's now left
- Very poor HR. Was told by the manager (direct quote) to a room of 30 or so employees "depression and anxiety, these things don't exist, it's just a lack of motivation" (left soon after)
- Long hours - roughly 70 hour weeks. You're expected in for 7:45 and rarely leave the office in the evenings until 7-7:30 having spent a 9-5 getting verbally abused by the public for harassing them (which is openly encouraged).
- No costs are covered, you're expected to pay your own transport into work (absolutely fair enough) then also to pay for your own transport out to wherever you're assigned
- Encouraged to give extremely positive reviews on job websites like this completely overlooking any negatives and suggesting the only way to improve could be employee parking
