The enviroment was clean. Co-workers were mostly pleasant. There were incentives durintg the busy holiday seasons as well as rallys and trying to get productivity from employees. You were treated like family for many years when Mr. Fortunoff was alive. Employee benefits were good as well as the discount.

Management was deceptive when it came to promotional opportunities. Salaries were not equal for all employees doing equal jobs. Personal appearance and immage were used for promotion not job knowledge and experience. Long hours were expected during the busy weeks with little regard for personal lives.
