The best part of the job was definitely the colleagues; I met some really nice, supportive people who made the shifts more bearable. The initial onboarding process was also relatively straightforward.

Svantaggi

Management is completely disorganized and communication is nonexistent. You are stuck on unstable short-term contracts with absolutely no ability to move up in the company. When minimum wage increased, my pay was only raised to match the new legal minimum rather than staying above it; this was a real-term pay cut based on inflation. The general atmosphere is awful, and I am incredibly glad to have left.

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Svantaggi

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
