• Underpaid for the Workload: The expectations placed on us were extremely high, especially given the compensation. We were expected to handle complex, high-stress calls for Capital One, yet paid barely above minimum wage. The level of responsibility didn’t match the paycheck. • Micromanagement & Toxic Culture: The Microsoft Teams environment was heavily monitored, and management seemed more focused on catching small mistakes than helping us improve. Every minute was tracked, and there was little to no room for genuine support or feedback. • No Work-Life Balance: Scheduling was inflexible and constantly changing, often with very little notice. Mandatory overtime was common, and taking time off was difficult—even for valid reasons. • Lack of Career Growth: There were few real opportunities for advancement. Promotions seemed based more on favoritism than performance or experience. • High Turnover: It was obvious that many employees were unhappy. People were quitting or getting terminated constantly, which made it difficult to build a cohesive or supportive team.
