The Brussels office suffers from extremely high turn over. Male consultants are promoted rapidly, whilst female are not. Female colleagues were not included in business development or proposal development trainings and side barred from pitching new clients. They hire young consultants for reason, not to mention the use of interns that work 60+hours. Very poor internal training and onboarding into client work. Client work was done with poor (project) planning and organisation, simple project plans were not done. Unsurprisingly, clients were unhappy with deliverables when they understood that work was subpar or delayed. No HR officer, UK HR officer was not aware of basic labour laws of Belgium. They introduced a teleworking/hybrid policy which favours the senior staff. Brussels office did not have windows and most colleagues had lunch at their desk in silence. Work-life balance is non existent, expect to work 50+hrs/week, back to back meetings (instead of actually doing the work) and after work drinks at 8pm to ensure you stay in the office longer...
