I worked at Fox Racing for three months and experienced several issues that led to my departure. Lack of Managerial Support: My manager checked in with me only once for 30 minutes during my entire time there. She never sought feedback from the colleagues who trained me, leaving me feeling unsupported and disconnected. Unjustified Termination: I was let go just before the probation period ended, allegedly for "limited production," despite completing all tasks daily and doing extra by helping out my coworkers with some of their work. When I challenged this, the only explanation given was that I used notes to do my work—a claim that was baseless and impossible for my remote manager to verify. Delays in Obtaining Resources: Access to necessary systems and tools was often delayed by weeks. I frequently had to seek help from others to expedite processes my manager had promised to handle. HR Inconsistencies: My offer letter indicated that benefits would start immediately. Despite repeated inquiries over 1.5 months, I was eventually told that, as a Canadian, I would have to wait three months. This discrepancy caused unnecessary confusion and frustration. Pay: Poor compensation. Overall, my experience was marked by a lack of communication, support, and organization. I hope the company addresses these systemic issues for the sake of future employees.
