Vantaggi

Good work-life balance, remote work usually possible, some nice people working there

Svantaggi

Unfortunately Fracture is lacking in long term vision and is not a place conducive to innovation. In their desperation to grow faster, they’ve brought in external consultants (who are the epitome of bro douchebaggery) who have encouraged siloing and have butchered the culture and morale of some departments. As a result, internal employees feel the very opposite of empowered. It’s sad because the culture here was once collaborative and much more transparent. The list of values that the company supposedly adheres to is a joke at this point. The CEO seems like a nice person but lacks the vision and leadership skills to enable a future-looking, positive environment. Employees’ experience and skills are being wasted. They are also in dire need of more diversity on the leadership team.

Vantaggi

Great benefits. Everyone outside of the upper management team are the best people you'll ever work with. We've built great bonds with a lot crap we've dealt with over the years.

Svantaggi

Fracture has been going down hill for a while now. New CEO was brought in earlier this year, and of course brings in her friends from Crocs. She was brought in as a yes-woman for the board, and to run the management minion team that are all also completely out of touch with the products, customers and Gainesville roots. She and all the uppity people are all from Boston. If you're not in that area, you're basically the lowest level of value in the company and are treated as such. Chief of Staff is a snake and will backstab you if she gets the chance. An amateur in a role that she only received because she was the original CEOs assistant, and doesn't actually care about maintaining the culture this company was built on. Her goal is to be a proxy Bostonian and try to fit in with the upper management team. There's also no diversity in leadership and if you have any aspirations of growth as a person of color - good luck. Any POC management and team members were let go and replaced by white people to run the company, who haven't even done a good job of "bringing the company back". So remember, if you ain't white, you out! Just look at the people who've been here before and notice how many white people in Boston replaced them. The Fracture careers page is full of people who aren't even here anymore. So if you're thinking about applying, remember that all those happy faces you see on the careers page are fake AF because they not here anymore. Being overpriced products for the category it's in makes it challenging to actually grow this company. They've gutted the teams and let go of really great people who contributed to the little success we had this year. This team is no longer the personable and close group is used to be. It's a rough experience for anyone that's left as we don't recognize the company it used to be even just a couple years ago. The magic is gone and they're putting a whole lot of emphasis in Boston staff, and killing off the original Gainesville culture and vibe we had. Remote workers aren't bad, but they they're just bringing in a bunch of people who are puppets to the Boston puppet masters.
