Vantaggi

If you’re interested in learning to design and tune up your sales skills, it’s a great role. The company offers full benefits package and locations are nice

Svantaggi

There are too many…firstly the commission structure is bogus, you get something like a measly $25 for a good review with your name in it. No one is qualified in the sales team including the CEO who insists on performing all three roles of sales manager, director of sales, and CEO. Both founders are a married couple and they are incredibly passive aggressive, but sometimes just completely aggressive. If you require a non hostile work environment, I honestly would not recommend this toxic place. My role as a sales associate and designer is difficult to perform if you don’t have any training in design. Really, the CEO will just annoy you all day asking questions, laughing really loudly for no apparent reason. The founders also run a long line of tanking previous companies and they have 0 background in jewelry manufacturing or diamonds, you can tell from the inside out.

Vantaggi

Talented and smart senior management and team members, which is important as its a smaller, collaborative environment. A relatively new and evolving company, so there is non-stop opportunity for career growth and to try new things. The founders care about their employees and the company's culture and it shows. Overall its a wonderful place to work and gain experience!

Svantaggi

Not really a con, but like all companies in the engagement ring/fine jewelry space, the busy season is around the holidays.

Vantaggi

-They will pay you a decent hourly wage as a bench jeweler

Svantaggi

-They will not contribute to your health insurance. If you are an hourly employee, you are responsible for the entire cost. Ex: for low tier health insurance, about $5 is deducted for every hour your work as a full time employee. -They will deduct your weekly time card if you go over 40 hours to avoid paying overtime; even if you clocked in for that time. Furthermore, they will never communicate to you letting you know why that time is being deducted. -Little to no jeweler training. You are expected to know what you are doing and if you don't there's no effort to train you or allow you to grow as a jeweler. I was employed there for 1.5 years and all they had me do was clean and stamp castings all day long. -Terrible communication. Everything gets communicated last minute. For example, holiday overtime was communicated the weekend before. And management was always late to open the studio which prevented jewelers to be able to clock in on time.
