Vantaggi
Nothing, even the coffee stinks.
Svantaggi
This job was without a doubt one of the worst experiences of my life. Everyone in the office is miserable because they’re expected to meet an unattainable quota at an unrealistic speed (unless you have a photographic memory, but if you did have a photographic memory, you wouldn’t be working for $16 an hour without moments to breath, sacrificing bathroom breaks just to make ends meet). Furthermore, they do not provide any regimented training for the research you have to do. Their high turnover rate is an indicator of how well people can tolerate the job, as well as how careless they are when it comes to firing people. I think their mindset is that they can always just rehire more naive employees to abuse for three months. Then, they can fire those people and bring in more idiots. This is called the Circle of Frasco. I have worked in deadline driven offices before, but this place was nothing but an evil circus. I repeat: NOBODY WAS HAPPY. I don’t know if it had to do with upper management being greedy or other areas of incompetence, but I was surrounded by one of the most dreary work environments I had ever seen in my life. All you’re doing with this job is helping greedy insurance companies find ways to not pay their customers when they need their coverage. Everything about this line of work is disgusting and I urge you to hold off for something much more rewarding. There is no excuse for how terrible this company is. Those at the upper management level who are amplifying the stress of their employees should be ashamed of themselves.
