Vantaggi

As a fairly new employee, I can honestly say Freeman is a great place to work. The on-boarding process is well organized, and there is flexible autonomy to get your work done. The people are also helpful and great to work with. Leadership encourages work-life balance, so that's also another plus!

Svantaggi

Although the company has been around for 90 years, it can sometimes feel like a start up trying to catch up to its rapid growth. Rapid growth is not a con, but the lack of processes for the new growth can be a challenge for some.

This is truly appreciated feedback. We’ve made a very intentional effort to improve the on-boarding experience here at Freeman and are happy that it’s translated into this positive experience for you. We're also dedicating resources towards our organizational design and our project management discipline, so we hope results from these efforts are more visible soon!

Vantaggi

The pros were the per diem and the opportunity to travel. I really enjoyed visiting new cities and collaborating with kind, interesting people from across the country at different show sites. The pay was also very strong during busy seasons.

Svantaggi

If you want to join a company where employees are undervalued, expected to obey rather than think critically, and favoritism is openly visible, then please avoid this company. The environment often felt heavily micromanaged at every level of leadership, with experiences of both covert and overt racism in the workplace. There was also a strong sense of competition and distrust among coworkers, where people would undermine one another for personal gain. Leadership and upper management appeared far more focused on optics and appearances than the actual well-being of the employees working on the show floor.
