Vantaggi
You get to work for a great company with good benefits. They communicate company goals and you always hear from the people at the top. They have a lot of great ideas and plans, and even share road maps of how the company will get tere...but the execution always falls short.
Svantaggi
Ideas and processes are created by people (upper management) who have never been in your shoe,. They tell you how to do things but never ask the people who actually execute for their feedback, so the changes (most of the time) never make sense. The amount of work they give one person is crazy. You never really take a day off since you always have to be on the clock. There are multiple layers of management, but most have no idea how to manage a team and even do what their team actually does. Most new people don't have proper training. It's assumed that because you did this job for another company you'll be able to just jump right in, which is never the case. No one wins in this situation, the employees are frustrated and clients can see how disorganized we are.
