management could use more transparency & heads up on important company issues, such as timing of the layoffs (which in hindsight, seemed all they could do, but caught many off guard, and devistated)

Thank you for sharing this review- we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your time at Freeman! We empathize with the challenging situation you are in and appreciate you sharing your experience regarding the timing of our business changes. Back in March, we believed the cost-saving measures we took (including furloughs) would be enough to carry the business forward until events resumed. Our hope was to be able to bring back all of our furloughed employees, but unfortunately that became impossible as event cancellations have continued to extend in light of the pandemic. Our employees are our top priority and we have strived to maintain active and transparent communication throughout the pandemic. Your feedback is noted and we really appreciate you taking the time to post this review. Wishing you all of the best in your future!
Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it
Svantaggi
Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
