Management can sometimes not pay attention to what the employees want or need. The top-level engineers all seem to butt heads all the time and give employees conflicting instructions. Industry is cyclical. Sometimes go from working 20 hour weeks for a few months to working 60 hour weeks for a few months. Very unpredictable.
