Vantaggi
Normal Swiss salary, nothing more, nothing less. You get a yearly bonus, which feels like a pat on the head after twelve months of chaos. It’s a decent landing pad if you're desperate to get a Swiss permit and want to taste what working life could be… somewhere else.
Svantaggi
Be ready to "reinvent the wheel" every year, but not just any wheel. First, you get a square, next year a pentagon, then a hexagon… until you realize it's not innovation, it’s just collective delusion with PowerPoint support. Management? Imagine a group of people with no leadership skills, no vision, and a deep love for micromanagement. Add a sprinkle of insecurity and boom: you've got the leadership team. The CEO is an idea factory — unfortunately, most of them are terrible. When the Swiss team fails to make his wild dreams come true (shocker), he shuts it all down and ships it to China, where apparently saying "yes" is the only KPI. Turnover? Some department have experienced such turnover that more then a department was a departure (of the airport). Why? Because hiring manipulative, emotionally unstable, technically incompetent managers, seems to be a strategic choice. Forget working from home. Trust is non existent. You’re expected to sit at your desk and repeat the same useless tasks until you forget why you studied in the first place. Career growth? Skill development? Only if you're fresh out of school and enjoy doing the same task on loop for two months. Then you're “trained.”
