Line Manager!
I went through three stage interviews and assessments, and was given the position/role. I waited 4 weeks to finally start.
I went to the office on a Wednesday and by next Friday unexpectedly invited by the line manager on Teams only to be told my contract is terminated with immediate affect and no longer work for Frontiers. The reason given was due to “underperformance”. I had not even started the role and was still to complete the training guide.
I had given my notice to my previous job as I was due to start at Frontiers, the action of the line manager now placed me in a position of being unemployed. I believe this was more of a personal as to professional decision making by the line manager. What is odd is the very same manager conducted the interview.(Length of employed 1 week)
