I don't know from where to start. So many consequences They will fire on the spot but if someone is leaving the company of own will then you have a 1 month notice period. Firing without, notice period nothing is mentioned in the policy. So please join this company on risk. Office timing is 10 AM - 6 PM but you will not realize when you end up working 12-16hr Please join this company if you have no personal life. Because you are going to spend most of the time working. After working that long for a company you will not get any compensation, appreciation and if you do small mistake then get ready to hear some extremely offensive and insulting comment from CEO. CEO is short-tempered and can insult you any time. He doesn't care how experienced you are and not remember how much you did for this company. At that moment he will treat you like a slave. It is a blood sucking company, long work hours, minimum pay. Please do not use your brain and do whatever they suggested because if you come up with any suggestion, they will not listen or end up ignoring. They will hire you as a fresher, pay you less than the market standard but they will expect you to bring 5yr of work experience in the company. Their strategy is to hire fresher criticise them for there work and get things done under pressure with no compensation. They know you have no industry experience so you will do what they are saying and you will believe on their word and think that you are not a good developer and start burning yourself day and night just to prove yourself. You will not understand when time passes and you end up hurting yourself, lose your confidence, your self-respect, mentally disturbed, you will not sleep for days, you went into depression. Please do not endure any abuse. If you are still in this company and facing such a situation please please please leave this company ASAP. The world is full of good companies and you deserve everything in your life and right now this company is not in a position to give you that.

- you own your work, no matter what role or level - learn how to think from first principles - no hierarchy or office politics or anything like that, your work speaks for itself - while the company focuses on ERP workflows for eCommerce merchants, which inherently seems niche, the skillsets you learn can be broadly applied to other industries and roles - company cares deeply about their customers and does right by them - product first company, making the best product is at the heart of everything they do - bootstrapped mentality which meant they never did a large round of layoffs due to overhiring or anything like that, they stayed lean and were cognizant of burn rate

- it is not a 9-5, they are upfront about that in the recruiting process but it is something to be aware of as that is not for everyone - feedback is considered a gift, this means you can get the necessary feedback to improve but it also is tough for some people to adapt to that communication style. while the intent is always to make everyone the best version of themselves, sometimes it makes it can be tough to get consistent feedback

Hybrid work schedule, some nice coworkers

Don’t recommend working here. No people managers, only “managers” who are technical and in way over their heads. Be prepared to be yelled at in front of everyone. Was not set up for success on projects, unrealistic timelines, toxic work culture where no one takes accountability.

Hey, COO of Fulfil here... appreciate your feedback. We do think that every manager at Fulfil should hands on, where a good portion of their work is in fact Individual Contributor work vs traditional 'manager' work. While we do have a communication culture of being direct with one another, everyone should always be treated with respect and nobody should be yelled at. It's just not productive and I'm sorry you had that experience. Lastly, we've also updated our jobs page with a section on 'what it's really like to work at Fulfil' too re: our high intensity culture.
