Vantaggi

nice people, A product that is large enough to provide variety and continuous learning opportunities, yet not so big that you become just a small cog in the machine. This balance allows you to gain hands-on experience with the entire product and technology stack. The company encourages technological collaboration, supports employee learning and growth, and maintains a positive work atmosphere. The salary is competitive relative to the market, and the office environment is comfortable and welcoming.

Svantaggi

Some work-related pressure at times. The office is a bit cramped and located in a congested neighborhood with limited accessibility. The development language used is not very common. The onboarding process for new developers is still evolving and not fully polished. However, the team is very approachable and supportive—if you have questions, people are happy to help and share their knowledge.

Vantaggi

- Solid product in a difficult industry - Great experience in AI - Solid medical/PTO/sick time

Svantaggi

- Raises are only given to the "top 1% of the company" meaning that commitment and hard work will get you nowhere (financially). To get even a meager 3% raise, you need to be going above and beyond your role requirements (leading a new project, etc.). - Above statement renders their performance review process useless. I "exceeded expectations" for 2 years and never received a change in compensation (even got a promotion during this time). Essentially there is no financial incentive to exceed expectations versus simply doing the bare minimum. - Bottom line: The company is cheap and will do whatever they can to squeeze more out of less. I've worked in start up's most of my career and I fully understand the difference between frugality and cheapness. Every all hands meeting leadership would be preaching how well the company is doing and all the successes they've had, yet they cannot afford to give yearly raises to those who deserve it? I left and found a better paying job.
