Conservative market, top down management approach, no vision, high turnover, i got no support whatsoever from my manager to help me grow, never heard any feedback whether good or bad, i witnessed recruiter, hr manager and hiring managers having very worrying prejudices that impacted recruitment (and they are all still there). Many people who work there have been there for many many years, and it seems like they've gotten too comfortable, not trying to do their best. It feels like the ICT and HR dpts are running the same way for 10 years. Tools (like to help with productivity) are frowned upon, they either block or delete it. My peer stole credit for ideas/initiatives i had, our manager was aware and didn't care. It's each for their own at funda. Salaries are the same or even lower than in amsterdam startups, not what you expect from such a big brand. I assume all the money goes into a few people's pockets. When they wanted to hire me they said i could temporarily work remotely from my home country, for 1 month once a year. Once in, that policy changed and remote work was only allowed in europe for 2 weeks. I was never asked for an exit interview before leaving the company, clearly no care for it. All in all, even tho i felt so proud to work in a product that me and all my friends and family use/have used, the actual work behind the scenes is a joke. I would absolutely NOT recommend funda as an employer.
