Vantaggi

The people (excluding management, SLT) are genuinely amazing. They care about the projects and what they do. The tech is cool, but outdated when compared to modern solutions.

This is an extremely toxic would-be start-up run by money obsessed people who do not care (despite of what they say) about their "mission". They are only interested about using you until you burn out, paying you poorly, making you work overtime. Management do not know in the slightest how to run a company. In case there were redundancies, they should be the ones affected by them as they have failed spectacularly at their job. Do not join it. It won't survive long. If you do not have a job and are struggling, joining this company would only shatter your mental and physical health. It is not worth it.

I absolutely loved my 1Y 8M at FundamentalVR. The management was really good, and the corporate culture was also excellent. I promise you that I'm not pandering or being a sycophant here, but I'll tell you this: My manager was the best manager that I've ever worked for. They were very astute, smart, competent, AND FUN TO WORK WITH. They quickly could diagnose a problem, if it existed, and dealt with it proportionately. Also, my creative inputs and suggestions were given attention. Once I had a family emergency, and without hesitation, they gave me all the space that I needed, and they were a great emotional support for me. Lots of fond memories with all of them.

I don't have a con with FundamentalVR, but I really wish that the medical device companies were more accepting of our capabilities.

A nice to have technology, not a need to have. Constant shifts in sales strategy during tenure. Very reactive versus proactive. Poor c-level leadership. Rarely allowed to put our best foot forward when pursuing a prospective client. Access to internal resources for sales pitches was restricted and micromanaged by c-level leadership.
