Vantaggi

1) Product is industry leader and lot of challenges to meet, if in right place at right time. 2) One can enjoy the challenges and learn a lot, only if a self starter and self motivated. 3) Excellent features of the product leaves you admiring the designers/fathers of the product (GPP).

Svantaggi

1) No respect at work place. 2) Hardly anyone in the higher level to recognize and appreciate talent in India. Leads are always busy in their own world. Need lot of training to fit their position and that vision is completely lacking. 3) Specially some of the people who are in lead positions are proper mismatch. They are simply hired or promoted as they are 'known' to someone or because of their long relation with the organization. 4) No professionalism. 5) HR is not strong nor at par with industry standard. 6) Everyone in decision making positions seems to lack vision or completely short sighted. 7) Even if a root cause for the problems is pointed out, no one is interested in taking action against middle managers.

They are flexible with the work hours. There are many skilled and dedicated employees here, and like any other company, many that aren't. The company is privately held by a investor firm which has its benefits in that we aren't slaves to the people on Wall Street. The industry we work in is always changing which allows for exciting new opportunities to learn new products in the financial industry. The products that the different groups are developing are forward thinking and exciting opportunities for Fundtech.

Svantaggi

While the hours are flexible, the work week is rarely a standard 40 hours like many other companies and usually includes weekends for many on the staff. Staffing is not where it should be and prevents many products and projects from getting completed in a reasonable and requested amount of time. We have also lost many excellent quality staff members due to the long hours and lack of pay increases (another problem with being privately held).
