Vantaggi

The benefits package they provide (healthcare, bonuses, stock, free lunches, etc.) is really nice. Depending on your team, the people you work with can be awesome. The work /industry can be exciting. If you thrive on hard work, this is a great place to be. In the past, people were "jealous" of my job when I told them what my job/work environment was like.

Svantaggi

I came to this company when it was still a start-up and culture has changed A LOT. We used to be a team, all in it together trying to bring our incredible technology to the world. Now, politics abound in middle-management and leadership pretty much stays in their "ivory towers". It does not feel like a team here anymore. Additionally, people will sometimes do weeks and weeks of hard work, going the extra mile multiple times without so much as a thank you or an acknowledgment (from management) for their hard work. We don't need prizes or rewards so much, just gratitude for our efforts.

Vantaggi

Great, responsive Human Resources department, incredible administrative assistants, Halloween is always a blast there. Relaxed dress code. There are some pretty awesome coworkers, including tons that will bend over backwards for you.

Svantaggi

Negotiated for a reasonable raise with my boss after two years of working there, and his boss wouldn't follow through with what was negotiated. Constant sexist remarks and half my time was spent under a sexist boss who wouldn't promote me (even after I signed on with him telling me he would once I finished school). I found out I made half what my coworkers doing similar work made, and less than what interns made with less education than I. It can also be very difficult working closely with people in the Colorado and San Jose offices: It contributes to poor communication and a lot of unnecessary tension. Overall, the more I go to this job every day, the more I hate this job every day. For a company that has grown to this size, it's still experiencing the growing pains of companies a third its size.
