Vantaggi
Good work/life balance, no micromanaging, full autonomy in role. Nice other benefits, such as given time off over Christmas, monthly stipend for WFH and welfare activities. Genuinely lovely people work here and I haven't come across a colleague unwilling to help when asked!
Svantaggi
I've been at G2 for 3+ years and have experienced 3 cullings in my time here. Two out of the three have been due to the company needing to making changes inline of scaling the business. It's very difficult to trust the direction of the business when, regardless of performance, you may well receive the boot as your role no longer fits to the businesses needs. Additionally, we've now been told both times this change in direction is the right route to take when ultimately, we're likely to be in this same position in 12 months once more. One culling was for performance which is more understandable, however, there was also controversy here with an AE closing the largest deal in EMEA to date, days after they were dismissed. G2 is losing its identity as time goes on due to leadership decisions and redundancies, where mentions of culture and authenticity are becoming empty buzzwords. Pay is handsome if you're not afraid to negotiate, however, there is also a problem here with a lack of transparency - multiple of my colleagues were on less and multiple were on more than I earned, despite similar experience and output at G2. To those considering applying to G2 I would look elsewhere as right now G2 has been volatile for the past couple of years and It's not yet on the other side of the latest newly introduced structural change. I will endeavour to keep this review updated as whilst I continue my time here at G2 and provide honest insight.
