Former Security Guard (2014) - Recensione dipendente - Security Gaurd presso G4S

So I was a security guard about a decade or so ago. This was such a terrible introduction to being a security professional (which I should have figured as it's a big corporate company). I was a rather young woman at the time and was surprised they would assign me to unsafe sites to safeguard including construction ones. The Calgary head office seemed toxic and dysfunctional in terms of their dispatchers working in the call center, who would purposefully put you in unsafe and weird situations (mind you, I was only about 19/20 years old and inexperienced in the field). I would definitely not recommend G4S, which is the shoddy fast food/fast security equivalent in the industry, to be honest. I barely lasted and switched to a local company. Would not recommend working here if you can avoid it. Overall (Pros): -Interesting orientation and onboarding -Lots of available shifts
