Master Powerpoint and Excel, make sure your presentations have lots of colors and meaningless charts, and you've cornered your corner office. The company tagline, "Imagination at Work" couldn't be farther from the truth. This company is as much about Imagination as Enron was about Ethics, and Goldman Sachs is about Social Equality. If you have had the best year possible, expect a "generous" 3-4% appraisal. Bonus? "Haha, don't make me laugh! Who do you think we are, Siemens?" Bottom line: If you're someone who thrives in creativity and expects rewards for performance, stay away.
