Vantaggi
As one of the principles of Gable, it’s hard to deny that the negative reviews and even some of the intentional smearing on this site, doesn't sit well. It’s not even to say that it’s all false. In the many reviews on this site, there are actual perceptions of past and even current staff, that whether we like it or not, they exist. As I read the negative comments, they fuel me to do a better job at everything I touch. My goal is to be a better leader, a better communicator, a better coach, while continuing to challenge our entire staff to seek the best in everything we do. The posted reviews and comments, whether negative or positive all help us by providing feedback that will give us new goals and new aspirations in reaching our desire to be a great company. For those few who have taken the time to voice your opinion of Gable, and regardless of your intention either good or bad, I sincerely wish you the best in your future endeavors. If you are currently employed at Gable, and insist on hiding behind an anonymous and negative post, I encourage you to either assist us in correcting the issues or seek a new place of employment that will bring joy to your life; as no one deserves to be unhappy. Your negative posts will ultimately hurt you and your closest team-mates. Additionally, I'm sure that your less than desirable attitude towards a company who provides for you and your family is most likely negatively affecting others. I ask that if you are considering Gable as a place of employment, I only hope that you will seek a balanced approach and not only base your decision off of the words of a few individuals who most likely harvest a personal vendetta or didn't fit in with the new direction of Gable. For anyone that has held a management position or even owned a company, I think you'll agree, growing a company profitably and successfully in today’s world isn't easy. In fact, it’s quite difficult. During the last few years we have had to make difficult choices that have not and will probably never please everyone. As a seeker of a new career home, we realize that you have a choice. You obviously are looking for stability, the opportunity for advancements, a positive culture, and most importantly, a fair compensation package. I am confident that if you do your research and speak to the people who really do care about what they do, you will find that Gable does offer all of what I listed. And yes, it may not be perfect, but we promise to always do our best to make Gable a great place to invest your time and positive energy! As I write this post to defend what a select few are even trying to destroy, I can't help but to think of the dozens of current team members who have gone out of their way during the last year (new staff and senior staff included) to personally let me know that Gable is a great company. As it's stated, "the grass isn't always greener". Just this week, a new staff member of almost a year told me that "they have never worked for a company like Gable who cares so much about their people". Now, this is quite a contrast from some of these posts. I encourage and welcome you to find out the truth, as I’m confident that Gable should be a company to consider! We are currently transitioning from a traditional sign company to a global leader in the visual communications industry offering a wide variety of visual solutions. Our unique blend of digital video displays with A/V (Audio Visual) integration, traditional signs, creative media and content solutions, and commercial and intelligent lighting will allow Gable to successfully compete in any related industry. Our number one focus in 2016 is to improve our workplace and our culture. Having a high quality, engaged, and committed staff is what we are striving for in 2016. You could be part of the exciting times!

I can’t deny it, just as in most companies, and if you really dwell on the negatives, yes…there are several negatives at Gable. Communication in a company with 145+ staff is not easy and an area we strive to improve. We haven't always done the best job of providing constant feedback to our staff and that has led to far too many communication issues. And yes, the Gable management team is guilty as charged that we sometimes seem to be moving in different directions. We are currently looking to add new managers to help us improve in the areas we have failed. It’s true, we have had management depart Gable for brighter and greener pastures, some that we are even proud that their time with us was mutually beneficial in creating greater opportunities. For others, the chemistry wasn’t right and we decided to part ways, as we (Gable) also have that choice if we are not seeing the expected results. One reason for our seemingly dissimilar direction of our management team, is our continued desire to be a leader in the blended industries we serve, while continuing to raise the bar for our staff and ultimately our competition. Our industry, the technology, and the world around us is moving faster than ever before. We continually strive to remain cutting edge with our innovation, our solutions and offerings, and yes, even aggressive pricing when we have to be. Our team should be comforted knowing that we know how to win business and recognize the importance of sales in any business. We move fast to stay ahead of our competition. On the other hand, we take our time ensuring we make the best decisions; most of the time. Our culture does not fit every person, every personality, or every situation. We recognize the need to improve in many areas but we will not apologize when we cannot make everyone happy all of the time; that is not realistic. Even as an owner I get frustrated that we can't do better, frustrated that we don’t always attract the best people. I even get down when I know one of our staff is not happy or feels we have not communicated well or they feel we've intentionally mislead them. I have a very high standard of who Gable should be and will continue to push for greatness, not accepting the status quo. I take it as a personal challenge each day to make something better, improve a process, demand more from our staff, and especially, demand more from myself. We take business seriously, but seriously does not mean we are perfect.
