Vantaggi

please read my whole post because there really are some amazing things in Gallup. context: I currently work here in the Midwestern region. I've been working here for 1 year and 4 months now. Not many people stay past their training period (initial 4 months) just because it's a cubicle job and they become bored, to be honest. I began on the 20 hr team then moved down to 15 hr team while working a seasonal job last year, then moved back up to the 20 hr team for a few months, and then moved up to the 35 hr team for the summer, and now I'm on the 20 hr team again because of school. -extremely flexible schedule: you pick your hours. simple as that. PLUS you take breaks WHENEVER you want. -amazing pay: 15 hrs = $9.00... 20 hrs = $10.00... 30 hrs = 12.00... 35 hrs = $14... 40 hrs (plus mandatory overtime - different amount every week) = $14.75. -incentive pay: there's a quota. hitting quota is 100%, if you go above and perform well, you get more money. (ie: 20 hr team = $10/hr @ 100%. 20 hr team = $15/hr @ 150%) -complicated bonuses made simple recently: now, if you perform above 95% on your projects, you get a bonus (depending on how long you work there and how much above 95% you earn). another bonus is called Milestones where you earn 10 activities (that usually take about 2 years to complete) and then when those are completed, you get a $250 visa gift card. another bonus is called Play Pay where if you meet a certain amount of hours in a single year, you get anywhere from 2%-8% of your yearly wages added on at the end of the year, depending on how long you've worked there. -certification: there are several levels of certification you can complete to increase your hourly pay: 3%-20%. -managers are always nice and super understanding about life happenings. -the company likes to better their employees' lives through benefits and engagement activities. -benefits: the 35 hr team has the most benefits that include medical, gym membership, counselling, parking costs, and more. tuition reimbursement: you have to work 1940 hours to get 25% back per semester as long as you meet the normal requirements while in school. every stage after that is an increase in reimbursement up to 100%. -engagement activities: every month you are given a calendar with activities to complete or opinion sheets to fill out. these increase employee engagement as a center and also allow the employees to be heard. (some activities include: dial in the dark night, pizza, opinion counts, financial wellbeing, strengths wellbeing, and more). -time off: you are granted 10 "days" off per year, and one week vacation. i say "days" because each team has their own number our hours that equals up to a "day": 15 = 3 hrs... 20 = 4 hrs... 35 = 7 hrs, and so on. lots of potential for growth and lots of potential to make bank.

Svantaggi

-my only complaint is the time off system: time off is not paid leave, instead, it's just time that the managers don't require you to fulfill.

Vantaggi

1. Genuine intellectual autonomy with real institutional backing behind you 2, A research heritage spanning nearly a century that raises the bar on everything you produce. I've worked with Nobel Laureates and many other top minds. 3. The nicest smart people I've encountered anywhere, drawn from all over the world; and that's held true across nearly 30 years 4. Treated like a responsible adult from day one; lots of autonomy and a remarkable breadth of data and research to work with 5. A place where your individuality is an asset, not something to sand down

Svantaggi

1. If you are a person who needs someone else to structure your day and hand you a to-do list, you may struggle; the autonomy is real, and so are the expectations that come with it 2. The pace and intellectual standards can be demanding; this is not a coast-and-collect-a-paycheck environment
