I was part of Hack Reactor before it was acquired by Galvanize; the first 6-8 months after the acquisition were bumpy and we are still working out some growing pains. However, the new CEO, Harsh, was my direct supervisor for nearly 3 years (2 years at Hack Reactor, almost a year at Galvanize). I was so happy to learn he would be the new Galvanize CEO as he is the best boss I've ever had (to be fair, my new manager is pretty fantastic too!). He is transparent, direct (yet kind and compassionate) and willing to make tough decisions that benefit both the company and its employees and customers, I've also been consistently impressed with everyone else I've worked with at Galvanize.

We need a larger focus on professional development and clear growth trajectories; this is something I have heard is in the works, and I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes. I would also love 401k matching but have no complaints about the rest of the benefits package.
