Good people who work hard The more you work the more you are paid Great bonuses over time

Takes awhile to earn more than other firms but in the long run I earn way more than I could anywhere else No WFH (I actually think this is good though but some people don't like it) Hard for people right out of college to get work right away

Gateway's environment is set up to make everything accessible. Why go out to eat when you have a 7/11 in-house? Why do any social activities outside of work when you can do events with no one but coworkers? GE's "campus" is essentially set up like a compound, with certain systems in place to psychologically make employees feel like they don't need to leave - and shouldn't leave - ever. The CEO believes work/life balance is a myth and doesn't actually exist.

Fresh graduates - please do not give GE your time or energy. You will not be working full-time. You will not be paid fairly. You will not be treated kindly. You will face harassment, sexism, fraternizing, insubordination, and lack of respect. You will never be enough. Bullies run the show and laugh at other people's hardships or issues.
