While working at Gateway I was provided with excellent sales training, including having the owner of the company come in the field with me. I was able to make over 1000 in commissions in my third week and never made less than 800 after that. I felt included and listened to by management and the owner of the company. Rich, Eric's business partner, was also helpful in my training.

There were a lot of managers already established and the business was expanding so i decided to seek opportunities with more rapid advancement. Definitely did not enjoy marketing cosmetics but was happy with company changes to PPE and lifestyle products

Honestly I learned a lot about marketing and sales and since working here I have taken my knowledge of what I learned here and I make 2x more than an office manager there makes.

They lie. They do shady business. They won’t tell you that you are part of Smart Circle which also is shady practices. They encourage you to sell in big box stores and there have even been cases where the employees had the cops called on them and were put on a national ban list from those stores. They lied to me about Salary and Commission. They do which ever one is is more. I was told in the beginning I’d be doing sports venue marketing and found out I was selling make up after being told I was going to “sling some bags” and at that time I honestly was afraid we’d be selling drugs after we left the state and didn’t tell me where we were going. They encourage you to think like an entrepreneur but the likely hood of having your own office is slim to none even if you are the top sales rep. You’re better off working here for two months and then starting your own business because then you’d be able to make more money than what they pay you.
