Vantaggi
I've worked in the Gembah Sales Department for just under two years. It's been an exciting ride as I watched the company grow from 8 employees to 120ish, and most importantly felt like I was a huge part of that growth. - Fully remote work - Managers, Executives, Founders are genuinely good people and we're all working toward the same goal. - Compensation and Benefits are solid - Autonomy given by supervisors. If you get your work done and perform well, you can choose your own method - Great equipment provided, good tech stack - Surrounded by smart, hardworking people who you'd want to get a beer with - Upward mobility, lots of promoting from within - Diverse, inclusive company and culture
Svantaggi
- As with any start-up, things are constantly changing which can be hard to keep up with - One of those things is the unfortunately the quota/compensation plan, which changed five times in my first twelve months as we built out the sales team. It seems to have evened out finally, but those weren't fun conversations when they happened. - You really are expected to work hard. You do find yourself wanting to work hard, because you're made to feel part of something bigger, but it is a demanding role, definitely not for someone just looking to clock in/clock out. - No 401k matching - Lack of diversity specifically on the sales team
