First and foremost, though there are teams such as HR, Account, etc, the so-called CEO intervenes in all the decisions, be it a silly one or significant one. And that decision always turns out to be a worst one ever. For an instance, if an employee does not use his/her comp-off within the period mentioned in the policy, he/she has to send an email to manager copying CEO for extension. Due to the above, if you have issues which you take to HR or Accounts or any such department, there will be no proper response, you have to keep following up with them for many months until you get fed up. There are no standard policies. In case you try to argue on something favourable to you, because the policy also says the same, the management instantly changes the policy and say that they have updated the policy and whatever we referred to was an old one. There are still no policies on many topics such as holiday during client related travel, reimbursements, etc. The management takes a decision which is favourable to them the moment we approach them. You cannot expect that decision the next time you go to them during the same occurrence. As mentioned above, since there is no policy, sometimes the management very stupidly argues on the things which is neither favourable to the company nor its employee. The management is nill flexible. You have to adhere to everything they say just like a school student. In case you do something which you think will not result in any deduction in salary, you better reconsider it and get it confirmed from the management. Because, the deductions will happen without any prior intimation and any logic. And once the money is gone, it is gone forever. If you are on notice period and about to get separated from the company, better you get all your accounts settled or clarified, because once you are out, all your payment balances are gone, you will never get them except your full and final settlement. No team outing, team lunch, cultural events, games, etc. You absolutely have nothing. If at all you have something, you need to strictly adhere to the timing and everything that the management defines. Finally, you will never feel that this is your company and it is your responsibility to work towards its success, because the company never treats you as its valuable employee and it has to do everything possible for your happiness and satisfaction.
