There's about a 10% chance that you will get anywhere in the company, chances are they'll replace you as soon as the project is done (even though they tell you they won't). As an artist, Gener8 will give you absolutely nothing to advance in your field. They hire pretty much anyone that can open Maya, let them go when the project is over and then complain about the amount of experience you have, at the start of every single project pretty much everyone is brand new and has to be trained. This company lacks encouragement, respect for their employees and very little chance of stability and growth. Departments are constantly blaming each other for the mediocre work that gets done.

You get to work on some big hollywood productions, The lifers there are a good group of people, always ready to help out. HR was also a good team, always ready to look out for us...or atleast prepared to

Production treated us like robots, we never got any benefits... and by benefits I mean dinner when working late, even when the company would constantly buy lunch and/or dinner for their comp team. Every department except for the comp related ones was constantly treated like we weren't important, being told we are constantly behind on our work, even though we were on time everytime. They recently upped the number of work hours from 40 to 50 per week and reduced the pay as well. Overtime is strictly regulated to the point of punishing artists who performed "slowly" by making them work overtime and not paying for it.
