There are some shining stars at Genuine, and great camaraderie. Clients can pick up on that chemistry and are generally satisfied about the relationship. 9-5 office hours, free lunch on Fridays, tons of snacks/beer/wine. Fun parties, cool agency vibe. Most importantly, there are (were?) some brilliant minds working there and you will benefit from them.

In their quest to become the next HUGE agency, they seem to have forgotten what made them great in the first place: their employees. What other reviewers said about favoritism is true, but nowadays even if you're part of the "in crowd" you're no longer as golden or as safe as you probably thought you were. I've seen them turn on a few "favorites" lately. It's really their way or the high way, and they are too conceited to admit when they've made a mistake, instead blaming everyone else. There's veiled transparency and the top execs are unprofessional. I understand that business is business, but employees are still people. If you are opinionated, a woman, or a minority (or worse, a combination of the above), be careful. This is not the place for you.
