- Company is almost 30 years old, and mindset is a bit behind the current tech trend - Senior management not willing to commit to innovation initiatives, company was sticking to a somewhat dated app and hard to adopt any new technologies - PMs or people managers got promoted way faster than engineers. Some managers have no idea how to manage engineers. And they're not technical at all. - Bunch of layoffs since oil/the whole sector is not doing well. Guess this one doesn't count.
