Vantaggi
Annual raises (+0.5-1%), full-time end of year bonus ($300). Decent for the experience so you can write it on your resume for your next job if you have no other choices.
Svantaggi
Look, I know it's tempting to find that first job right out of school, but don't do this one. Leave Bowling Green, this place doesn't have opportunities for growth here, and the few established businesses (this one in particular) know that you are replaceable and can treat you how they want and are suspicious of you if you do not fit a certain mold. Pay was below standard for the type of work, but lack of other local options allow the company to more or less control the job market. Still does not offer remote work for jobs that can be easily converted to remote despite the pandemic. The owner’s religion is pushed into many aspects of this secular worksite’s daily life, through prompted group prayer, mandatory saying grace during certain meals, and prompted volunteer work serving religious anti-LGBT charities such as the Salvation Army. Pay is not equal for equal work and experience. No opportunity for growth within the company. Health care plans were unaffordable. Meetings for retirement plan signups were rushed and little was explained for something as important as these plans. A lot of micromanagement. Job flow is stuck in the 90s. Newer employees are made to pick up the slack where older employees had grown comfortable with their positions. Employees who had been there longer had more leeway than newer ones. Supervisors do not take constructive criticism. Intimidation tactics are used by the higher-ups; I've seen people break down and cry because of the stress here.
