Managers, or so they think they are, don’t know how to manage people. They only got the position because they have stayed around and become a yes man for senior leadership. They are highly protected by the leadership team. Don’t ever speak your mind as that will be your demise. Oh, they want you to express your concerns so they can hold it against you in the end. They pay is way low for the amount of work they push out of these people. If you drive 30 minutes south you could double your salary. Also don’t think of having a baby while working here as they have a 1980s maternity leave policy (6 weeks-are you crazy) you would think with a female CEO that would be much better.
