Close to the subway and has a Tim Horton's in the building. That really is it.

It's taken me quite some to get around to writing this review. I was so disappointed during my time at this company that I wanted the air to clear before I put my review online. Now, with a clear mind, I can give a truthful review about my experience at GP. This company doesn't hire women on a FT basis...unless they want to be receptionists. Even the female interns end up doing reception work. I would suggest actively hiring more women (as we know that you haven't been interviewing them, which we can see as we had access to each other's calendars and can see who's coming in to interview) but I honestly wouldn't want any woman to work at GP with the current employees. They're misogynistic, backwards and make women that are around them uncomfortable. Both of the partners (Andrew and Karim) are nice to the women who've been here, but it's the recruiters on the floor that are the issue. I've overheard one of the guys telling a woman that she should wear heels and makeup to work. When this was bought up to a senior coworker, they didn't seem to find fault in it. If they interview a woman, they'll make comments about her appearance. Mansplaining happens. I think you have to really sort out your existing staff before you bring any woman into this office. If you're a white man, you're middle-aged, and you only want to hang out with similar people, then come to Gilmore Partners! As this is the only demographic that this company hires for. Apart from Karim and one other guy, the entirety of this company fit the above description. This doesn't seem to ever change. As the minorities (both ethnic and women) leave, they're replaced by another white man. Your company should reflect the city around you, and Toronto doesn't look like that anymore. Andrew is friendly and seems to be genuinely nice. Karim is also nice enough (although I've heard him snap at many people) and comes to the office in sweats and other very casual clothes. Didn't realise he was a partner when I first met him. However, there is something sorely lacking in the culture and the respect that employees have for each other and they need to buckle down to salvage this place. Be nice and firm but please get things together.
