      In a time when a lot of companies are trying to figure out the best way to maximize their workforce's performance by providing a better work/life balance, Glassdoor has nailed it. The people are kind and authentic which creates a warm and motivated culture. There is plenty of room for growth and lots of encouragement and support for those who wish to do so. The benefits are generous and their attention paid to health both mental and physical is on point. There is also a great sense of pride shared between everyone you work with. It is easy to look forward to going to work every day especially when you know the company you are working for values you.

I have also experienced the motivation and enthusiasm to come to work and do my best knowing that my authentic self will be valued. I'm energized to hear the sentiment is shared by folks who are newer to the company as well. I'm also encouraged by what you've shared around growth opportunities, as we have made a lot of investments in career and development over the past several years. For all the work the team has done in building out competencies and behaviors, sharing expectations around promotion readiness, and enabling effective career conversations, we aim to keep evolving as we grow and receive feedback. In fact, this quarter we will be hosting a workshop for all of CS on how to advocate for yourself in your career.       The benefits and culture were probably the best I've ever had. Even better than the benefits were the people I worked with. I enjoyed coming into work and doing my job and really stood behind the company tag line of helping people find jobs they love.

      During covid things started getting bad. Like many other companies layoffs came around and how the company handled those were terrible. You show up one day and next thing you know you lose access and cryptic email and then your'e gone. This happened again in 2025. They brought in person whose job it was to basically get people to leave. They didn't care about the content on the site, or any of the efforts in place to promote integrity and transparency and instead just wanted to shove AI down everyone's throat. What's sad is that Glassdoor was once a great company that I was proud to say I worked for. Now it's just like everywhere else, AI, AI, AI and trying to get people to quit before the next round of layoffs.
