Hmm...Where to start? GK has lost care of its employees as individuals. Despite being a training company, no training seems to be provided to any employee in relation to their role. GK culture is currently in a state of ‘if you are loyal to upper management, then you stay. If you question things, you go.’ There were 2 sales managers remaining when I left—there should be 9. They had all left or been let go. If you go to HR for any sort of concerning issue, don’t expect any help or guidance unless it’s related to benefits. Generally the concerns are listened to and then completely ignored. They are slowly outsourcing their sales department. There is a team of 50-60 individuals ready to go in India as I type this. My opinion is that remaining higher ups will be offered a transfer at some point so that when they decline they don’t have to pay that person any severance. The disparity in management styles is astounding/concerning. You have one manager who will ask you what you’re doing if she sees that you haven’t made a dial in the last 5 minutes, and another who you’ll hardly speak to over the course of your day. It’s been a mess for a long time; I could go on. There was a time when it was good, but it’s long gone. I hope they can find a way back to how they used to be.
