Small company, great leadership, effective communication.

The semiconductor business is cyclical.

Subsidized Healthcare, reducing health insurance costs. Easy to keep your job as long as the books don't require you be fired. End of year profit-sharing. Career advancement if you're related to the right people.

Abuses it's location to pay noticeably less than competitive wages for the industry, including supervisors and engineer techs. Advancement opportunities are rare and typically go to those with the right personal connections. Very little acknowledgement for strong performance and even less reward. 12-hour shifts in most positions. Very, very slow to implement schedule change requests, cross-training requests or graduating employees from "trainee" status to standard positions, getting standard grade work from them for many months at trainee level pay. Constantly operates understaffed while still pushing more and more tools into the Clean Rooms to support more orders. Overhauls processes and shifts staffing around in ways that drastically affect workload and responsibility without changing compensation. Their second Clean Room operates entirely without direct supervision and does over 3/4 the work of their first Clean Room with less than 1/2 the people. The end of year bonus typically only amounts to 1-2$ an hour extra over the course of the year, and those who haven't been there at least 2 years get even less than that.
