Awesome company to work for. The owner is involved in the day-to-day operations and is always open to hear any ideas on how to improve virtually everything, whether it be the customer experience or the packages that are offered or a new service to provide. This is helpful in the industry we work in to be able to change with the times and provide our clients with the best service possible. Everyone that works for the company is a very hard worker and works well together. There are a lot of different personality types at GoSite but everyone meshes really well and has no problem helping others when needed. The organization is constantly trying to develop new tools to improve the employee and client experience. This is extremely important to know if you're looking to work at a startup as many will falter by not adapting to the client's needs; GoSite is great at making sure they stay at the forefront of industry changes. The sales team overall does a good job of not overselling the clients on what we provide which, if you have any experience working in the backend of a service-based company, is not all that common. If there is a client concern the sales side is always more than willing to jump in and help out. It's refreshing. GoSite's product is built to service literally anyone that wants to have a better online presence, so the opportunity for growth with this company is unmatched.

If you're looking to work in a place that's similar to working for a large corporation, this isn't for you. It's nothing against GoSite; just the nature of the beast. As a startup, everything from processes to clocking in and out to the services we offer will continue to develop over time to continue moving the company forward. You have to be able and willing as an employee to adapt and learn often, and that sometimes doesn't work well for people who are used to working in a larger corporate environment like Target or State Farm or are looking for a more simple job where, once you're trained, it's pretty much coasting from there. Clients can get pretty aggravating at times but again that's really nothing to do with GoSite and more the nature of the position. Regardless of setting and resetting expectations and showing results, some people are rude just to be rude. Thick skin is necessary if you want to work in the marketing department, or sales for that matter. The only other potential con I can think of that's actually about the company is just that because it's new, many of the positions that will be available in the future for growth aren't available yet simply because they aren't needed. If you're looking for a set growth path, GoSite or any startup isn't a good fit for you. There is a tremendous opportunity for growth with the organization; don't get me wrong. You just have to remember that positions are created as the company continues to grow so the path from an entry level role to a managerial role with the organization may be cloudy compared to working at a big box retail store for instance where you go from part time to full time to a supervisor to a manager to etc....
