You’ll gain a lot of technical experience fast — good exposure to multiple stacks and real projects. Senior programmers are genuinely kind and helpful when they have time. You can claim overtime and certifications. Saturday work allowance is provided. Fun and casual environment among colleagues (excluding management).

Extremely poor management — the boss does not acknowledge employees’ hard work, but will highlight mistakes loudly in front of others, making it uncomfortable and demoralizing. Employees’ ideas or feedback are often cut off mid-sentence, creating a very discouraging atmosphere. Clear favoritism — one person receives most of the tasks and pressure, while others are overlooked. Heavy micromanagement from someone who isn’t part of the dev or tech team, which slows down work and creates unnecessary stress. Understaffed and overworked — unrealistic deadlines and constant last-minute “urgent” tasks. Salary is below market rate for the workload, with late salary payments almost every month and EPF (KWSP) contributions delayed up to 2 months. Benefits are minimal: only 8 days annual leave, no panel clinic, RM300 medical claim limit. Required to work weekends — even though there’s an allowance, the workload doesn’t justify sacrificing rest days. No formal training provided, which makes onboarding difficult, especially for new hires and interns. Unprofessional behavior from the boss, including swearing when under stress. Internship Note: Not recommended for interns unless you are extremely proactive and confident to ask questions. Due to understaffing, employees are too busy to guide interns properly.

The don’t look for highly skilled worker, rather the longer you work here the larger your salary is. The highly skilled worker is underpaid. The allowance is not distributed fairly. The departments/units (there are no departments or units really) are not well integrated causing a lot of delays in solving client’s issues. There are lots of interference from upper management causing the developers or technicians work to be disorganised. This happens frequently. There is no proper coordination between the technicians and project management team resulting the project management team to do the technicians works’ instead. This company is understaffed, but there are a lot of inexperienced and not skilled workers but the management seems to not bother causing each worker to not be paid according to their skills.
